Taking a photo of the mailbox straight in front of it doesnt call for a very intersting image. There isn'y much to look at and it is very dull. It being in the middle of the image makes it boring. The background is cluttered and makes it very unapealing.
Taking the photograph from the side is a little more apealing because of the greater width of the mailbox and now being able to see the flag. The backround is better than the one in the previous image because it is less chaotic and allows more focus on the mailbox. Still though the photograph isn't special.
Going inside the mailbox allows for a much better pphotograph. Your eye is pulled sraight into the mailbox. There is an element of depth and the way it is zoomed in adds to the depth. The background being unfocused really draws your eye into the mailbox.
This photo taken from a bird's-eye-view makes the mailbox seem insignificant. It just looks like a run of the mill mailbox and doesn't have importance. The background is boring and the mailbox doesn't stand out and the composition is nothing amazing.
This photograph, taken from a dogs eye view gives an impression of power and importance. The box stands out against the background, the background in and of itslef is intersting too. The red flag and yellow sign really stand out. The dog's eye view really makes the difference in photographing this mailbox. The lighting is good and the blue sky is really nice to look at.
